The mixed-use building will have 220 apartments and 115,000 square feet of commercial space in two buildings along Milwaukee Avenue. The building is made with cold-formed metal framing (CMFM) with light gauge structural steel atop a single-story podium made with structural steel.

CMFM is allowed in the Chicago Building Code through a memo, and parts of the memo have been incorporated in the updated Chicago Building Code that was adopted on April 10, 2019. The updated CBC also incorporates the International Building Code (IBC 2018) that allows CMFM to higher levels and heights with a lower fire rating than the current CBC with memo.
