About the project

The former Church of the Epiphany, at 201 S Ashland Ave, in the Near West Side closed in 2011. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It was most recently used as a temporary space by Nike for a “Just Do It” basketball practice facility in August 2018.

The building is being renovated to preserve the Chicago landmark and create a performing arts and events space called Epiphany Center for the Arts.
